kinari is one of Panasonic’s key bioplastic solutions in response to rising plastic-related environmental issues globally. Kinari is a high performance, plant-based plastic materials containing up to 85% cellulose; yet it has almost the same properties as petroleum-based resins. This video introduces key features of kinari, examples of kinari-based product development in collaborations with Japanese and global companies, and Panasonic’ approaches to realize circular-economy based society under the Group’s long-term environmental vision called Panasonic Green Impact (PGI).
